ALUMINIUM FLAT COVER (COEX)

ALU/COEX caps are produced either by Extrusion Coating on aluminum foil or Coex film lamination. They provide peelable adhesion on many plastic bowls and significantly act as a barrier against oxygen and moisture due to the superior barrier properties of the aluminum foil. This feature offers a significant advantage for many products requiring a long shelf life, hence making Aluminum/Coex caps a preferred choice. Compared to Alu/HSL caps with thermolac structure, they provide stronger heat adhesion and medium-strength opening features, offering higher resistance against leakage and puncture.

APPLICATION AREA: They are used as top lid foils for many products contained in plastic containers, primarily for yogurt and buttermilk caps. Special HSL lacquers are used for hot filling and different processes.
